For the third consecutive year, the Valencia Fine Arts Museum offered LZF Lamps the opportunity to use its non-exhibition spaces to create a temporary installation where in a theme, trend, or school of thought from the design industry is addressed, with a focus that establishes a link with the museum.
This year they opted to incorporate greenery throughout the space, allowing it to seep into the museum’s interior, creating a series of scenes based on biophilic design: a design movement that suggests emulating and integrating elements of nature into architecture and interior design due to the positive impact made on human wellbeing.
As in previous years, LZF Lamps and Gandía Blasco Group worked together to conceptualize and design the installation. This year they also collaborated with Valencian firm, Greenarea, who specializes in creating green spaces and vertical gardens with preserved foliage.
The scenes create lush and organic environments that blur the line between indoors and outdoors, designed to include beautifully creative greenery displays by Greenarea, nature-inspired handcrafted textile and furniture pieces by Gandía Blasco Group, and LZF Lamps’ staple wood veneer lamps.
