Mira challenges how we think about lighting an entire room and an indirect lighting fixture. Taking a fresh approach to providing functional, full-room illumination, Mira directs light towards ceiling and wall surfaces, which reflects evenly to fully illuminate a space.
With more than 2300 lumens per foot, this indirect lighting fixture generates enough reflected light to functionally illuminate the desired surfaces.
Designers can specify wall throw, ceiling throw or a combination of both in the same run to deliver the recommended footcandles to a typical tabletop. Mira’s indirect lighting design offers a flexible approach to providing room-filling, functional light while ensuring a glare-free experience.
Wall mounted with a ceiling throw, Mira effectively illuminates wider corridors or areas that give way to more open spaces. Mira’s asymmetric distribution delivers an even coverage over large areas while maintaining uniformity. The light distribution across the ceiling minimizes hotspots and shadows, making the space inviting and functional. The ceiling remains fixture-free and visually quiet.
Mira also enables even wall illumination without the need of a cove. Reflected light gently yet effectively illuminates adjacent features like counters and desks. Vertical illumination reduces shadows and better supports the rendering of people.
