St. George’s Renovation + Restoration: Updating a 1913 Gothic Revival School

Robert Lemon, Architect, and Neil Piller, Director of Operations, St. George’s School, will discuss the award-winning 2015 restoration of the 1912 St. George’s Preparatory Boys School located in Dunbar. This remarkable granite Gothic Revival school was built in 1913 for the Convent of the Sacred Heart as a day and boarding school for girls from 1913 – 1979.  St. George’s purchased the building in 1979, enabling it to remain in continual use as a school today.
