Screening | Age of Consequences

DESCRIPTION

Join the Canadian International Council (CIC), Vancouver Branch, and the UBC International Relations Students Association (IRSA) on Tuesday, February 28th, for an exclusive screening of the documentary, “Age of Consequences”. The screening will be held at the Liu Institute for Global Issues (Multipurpose Room) and begin at 5:30pm, doors open at 5:00pm.

The “Age of Consequences” investigates climate change impacts on resource scarcity, migration and conflict through the lens of national security and global stability.

The documentary team has worked with climate/security allies like The American Security Project, The Center for Climate and Security, Truman National Security Project, Wilson Center, New America, Partnership for s Secure America, Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit, Adelphi, IES/PSI and E3G to bring the film to the UN, Capitol Hill, the UK Parliament, the European Parliament, and the Pentagon.
