Lecture by Mikyoung Kim, Mikyoung Kim Design, Boston.

For the last 20 years, Mikyoung Kim has crafted a body of work spanning a wide range of landscape typologies in the United States, East Asia and the Middle East. Her firm has developed a reputation for culturally significant design work that serves as a powerful tool to heal and enliven the public realm. From children’s playgrounds to city parks and urban master plans, her work reflects a deep commitment to memorable place making that captures the public imagination. Kim’s diverse background in design and sculpture has shaped her body of work, blurring the boundaries between landscape architecture and environmental art.

Lectures are free and open to the public. The SALA Lecture Series qualifies for British Columbia Society of Landscape Architects Continuing Education Credits. Members of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada may self-report this activity for Learning Unit consideration.
