OPENING | SD 45 One. Five: A Sense of Place

March 30, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Local residents investigate their perceptions of West Vancouver’s social, cultural, economic, and topographical settings. Their personal inquiries of this distinct community are documented in a collaborative mural.

Students, educators, politician, artists, and architect have been directed to document their ‘community’ using a camera. They have been brought together in the West Vancouver Museum for one to witness the common thread that links these neighbours and what defines them as a distinct population.

Artists featured in this exhibition include: Ross Penhall, Cedric Burgers, Craig Cameron, Jody Broomfield, Chris Kennedy and 16 SD 45 students.
