Opening | Dana Claxton: Made to be Ready

A solo exhibition of new photographic works that captivate the life force of Lakota cultural belongings, which are produced to be actively used in domestic, work, warfare, social and ritual life. Claxton’s images are charged with her reflections on the modern ready-made, which drew attention to the aesthetic aura of everyday objects, and the Indigenous made-ready, which draws attention to the everyday aura of aesthetic objects.
