Pop-up Art Show with works by Adi Hadzismajlovic and Janet Ford.

$4 Beer

Adi Hadzismajlovic is a multidisciplinary artist and writer. His work deals with the humorous aspects of displacement and longing, often portrayed by characters and caricatures occupying surreal space. He is the author of an ongoing zine project Lamb Hands, as well as a booklet of poetry entitled Placenta Take Me Home and a short story collection Preaching Through a Straw. He currently resides in Vancouver.

Janet Ford is a visual artist living in Vancouver. Her crowd series explores the disfigurement of the human form with fine contour lines and the use of negative space and colour. The large scale detailed clusters of people she has created on canvas were inspired by her own state of agoraphobia and made with archival ink and acrylic paint.
