MOA: Paper Cutting Workshop

(In)visible: The Spiritual World of Taiwan through Contemporary Art explores how traditional and religious beliefs and modern values are integrated in this vibrant country. The exhibition features works by seven contemporary Taiwanese artists, who express and visualize religious beliefs, myths and the spiritual world with modern sensitivities.

Join us for special programs that further explore the themes of the exhibition.

Paper Cutting Workshop
Saturday, November 14, 1-3pm

Participants will have the opportunity to learn artistic paper-cutting techniques from Taiwanese artist Chiu Yu-Wen.

Open to all ages. Free with museum admission. Registration required.

 

About Spotlight Taiwan
MOA launched its Spotlight Taiwan Project in 2014, a new initiative that focuses on Taiwan’s complex and multicultural identity. MOA is now poised to host a highly anticipated exhibition of contemporary art from Taiwan, (In)visible: The Spiritual World of Taiwan through Contemporary Art.
