Ljubljana — Making Space and Movement about People and Public Life

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, was named the 2016 winner of European green capital for its efforts to create a green living room in its city centre and to turn wasteland into parkland and public space. This involved a complete reorientation of mobility towards walking, cycling and public transport and a powerful reinvention and rediscovery of public space.
