IDC NCIDQ Practice Sessions

This weekend practice session is designed to provide an overview and simulation of the NCIDQ exam including: exam format, study tips, helpful handouts, exam writing strategies and exam simulation.

Attendees should study prior to the sessions and come fully prepared to write an NCIDQ Section III design practicum exam.

NOTE: The Practice Design Problem (PDP 2012-02) is included in the cost of this session. There is no need to purchase this practice exam from NCIDQ.

Friday, July 15 | 4- 8 p.m.
Overview of full exam with multiple choice questions and review

Saturday, July 16 | 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Simulation of design practicum

Sunday, July 17 | 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Review of design practicum solutions

Multiple Choice:
Review of format and an opportunity to complete a number of sample multiple choice questions.

Section III – Design Practicum:
Complete a mock exam consisting of seven unique exercises focusing on space planning, lighting design, egress, life safety, washroom design, systems integration and millwork using the NCIDQ Practice Design Problem (PDP 2012-02). The facilitators will review the design solutions.
