Edmonton’s Cycle Journey | First backwards, then slow, now fast..

Two years ago Edmonton was ripping out on street cycle lanes. A year ago they were working on their first major on-road protected cycleways but at a glacially slow pace. This year, with unanimous support from the city council, they are implementing in one go a downtown cycle grid due for completion in August where the final product is the consultation material – to be tested out and if necessary modified in real time.
