July 12, 2016 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

On July 12th from 5 to 7pm, we welcome Managing Partner and Design Director at Henning Larsen Architects, Louis Becker to our 50 Water St showroom for a lecture.

Please RSVP to info@informinteriors.com.

Contemporary Danish Design: A People Focus
The exhibition, Art of Many and the Right to Space is the Danish contribution to the 15th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale – the world’s largest international architecture exhibition. The exhibition shows how Danish architects work to create public spaces, cultural venues, educational institutions, workplaces etc. for the benefit of the community, creating fresh, spatial interpretations of Danish democracy and society. In his lecture, Louis Becker will describe the legacy of the Danish welfare state’s great visions and the current humanist trend in Danish architecture. Through project examples, Louis will also discuss the importance of a Danish design tradition that emphasizes a human-centric approach at every scale – from urban design to architecture, to interiors and product design.
