City Conversations | Downtown Vancouver: Connected, Engaged, and Created By You

February 4, 2016 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm

What will downtown Vancouver look, taste and feel like in 2040? Last year, you were asked to Reimagine Downtown Vancouver, and over 11,000 ideas flowed in. Check out the findings report here: http://reimaginedowntown.com/report.

At our first City Conversation of 2016, the project sponsors, the Downtown Vancouver Business Improvement Association, will report back on the brilliant and exciting ideas that emerged on how to reshape our downtown by 2040.

But the DVBIA are not done. They are inviting you, our City Conversation participants, as well as community groups, businesses and the City, to use this report to help stimulate ideas for your own creative projects that will ensure a more connected and engaged downtown community!

Firing up your imaginations are Charles Gautier, the DVBIA’s Executive Director; Vancouver City Councillor Heather Deal; and Georgia Straight Editor Charlie Smith.

Then it’s your turn to make these brilliant, fun, and exciting ideas a reality long before 2040!

Registration is not required. Please arrive early as space is limited.
