Book Launch | Tall Wood Buildings

On March 30th from 5 to 7pm in our 50 Water Street showroom, we will be joined by Architects Michael Green of MGA and Jim Taggart to celebrate the launch of their new book Tall Wood Buildings. They will discuss the recent evolutions in mass timber design, construction, and performance, as well as the future of tall wood.
Twenty-First century building innovation combined with changing codes world-wide are contributing to a wood revolution and the advancement of the tall wood movement. Wood is a renewable, carbon sequestering product that offers an evolving medium that is both complex and a new frontier for design. In many respects we are taking knowledge that disappeared a century ago and revitalizing the next century of building more sustainably.
