Art x Architects Exhibition – Opening Reception

Location: AIBC Gallery | 100-440 Cambie Street, Vancouver

Don’t miss out on the RAIC Metro Vancouver Chapter’s first Art by Architects (AxA) Auction, a group exhibition and fundraising event that celebrates the artistic talent of emerging and established architects and designers to raise money for charity. AxA will showcase original 10″x10″x1.5” works on unframed wood panels. This year’s theme is “archKIDecture”. Artists will get creative and interpret the theme through various forms of media. Artwork will remain on display until November 5, 2015.

Each piece will be auctioned with a starting price of $50, with partial proceeds going to Architecture for Kids.

Awards & Prizes: People’s Choice Award, Kids’ Choice Award and two Juror Awards. Jury: Bruce Grenville, Senior Curator of the Vancouver Art Gallery; Mauro Vescera, Board Chair of the Gordon and Marion Smith Foundation; and Wayne De Angelis, Immediate Past President of the RAIC.
