We are so excited to announce that we were one of the winners of Acuity’s EarthLight contest! A little background on this incredible initiative…
Last year, Acuity Brands started the EarthLight in Action campaign where they challenged their sales agents to get involved and give back to their communities. In fiscal 2022, sales agents across Canada and the U.S. completed philanthropic activities to positively impact local communities, the environment, and each other, benefiting over 160 organizations.
Additionally, the top participating agencies could select a charity meaningful to them to receive a special donation in their honour from Acuity.
This past year our team has had the pleasure of working with and aiding a number of local organizations such as Mom2Mom, BC Cancer Foundation, BC Children’s Hospital Foundation, and Urban Native Youth Association.
One organization that we worked with on multiple occasions this year was Mamas for Mamas. They have an amazing team that will always greet you with a big smile and lots of love. We truly loved working with them time and time again. For this reason, we selected Mamas for Mamas as the charity to receive this special donation from Symmetry and Acuity Brands.
Ericka, Lisa, and Jill from the Vancouver branch recently joined our team to speak about the work they do and accept a cheque for $14,000!! We’re so happy that this donation will help give even more families in the Lower Mainland a hand-up, especially going into the holiday season.
