Ted Vadakan & Angie Myung

Since its foundation in 2003 by husband-and-wife team Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung, Poketo has grown from a small startup into a creative hub and design destination. Poketo has worked with brands like Nike, MTV, Disney, Target, Nordstrom and MailChimp, museums like MOCA, the Guggenheim, the de Young, and SFMOMA, and has collaborated with over 200 international artists.

In August 2019, Poketo will release their first book “Creative Spaces”, featuring 23 creatives in the spaces that inspire them, among which are four Vancouver-based artists, architects, product designers and entrepreneurs – Lukas Peet, Lindsey Hampton, Stephanie Forsythe and Todd MacAllen of molo, and Adele Tetangco.

During EQ3 Trade Day (September 27), Ted and Angie will join Elizabeth Pagliacolo, Executive Editor of AZURE Magazine, on the Caesarstone Stage at 11:30 AM. Presented by our friends at LA Design Festival, this talk is your chance to gain insights from the duo behind Poketo, learn the dos and don’ts of running a partnership, and get your copy of “Creative Spaces” signed by the authors right after the talk.
