Creative Mornings – How to Unfriend your Inner Critic

Your Inner Critic always has a goal: To separate you from yourself and the world. When we let the Inner Critic take the stage, we get stuck in all the thoughts that keep us feeling not good enough. Thoughts like: “There’s something wrong with you” “You’ll never reach your goal, you might as well give up” “You’re never going to be as good as other people” But what would your life look like if you could unfriend the Inner Critic and step more fully into the creative, expressive person that you actually are? In this one hour Fieldtrip, we’ll use a combination of mindset training, meditation and sound to become aware of the inner critic and ask it to step off the stage so we can remember the Creators that we are. This workshop will include journaling, a guided visualization and an energizing sound bath. Together, these three powerful tools will help you become more aware of what you’re feeling so that you can pause… and expand more fully into your true creative potential. During the Meditation/Sound Bath portion of this experience, participants will be asked to sit or lay in a comfortable, supported position, ideally using headphones that plug directly into a laptop.
