WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  1. Undersand the connection between biophilic design & mental health.
  2. Example of biophilic design in the real world to enhance mental health.
  3. A menu of ideas to bring these practices into our own environments.

YOU SHOULD ATTEND IF YOU:

  1. Are curious to understand more about Biophilic Design
  2. Want to find ways to incorporate Biophilic Design principles in your work and your well being.
  3. Are interested in how we design our work and home spaces to optimize for our mental health.

TESTIMONIALS:

Natasha is a fountain of wisdom in an area that is of more importance than ever. Biophilic design is so much more than just ‘bringing the outside in”. It explores the innate need for a connection to nature that we as humans have and the information and enthusiasm Natasha brings is refreshing, enlightening and energising. Couldn’t recommend her more– Xander Cadisch; PHOS: Architectural Lighting

That was bloody good. I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation this morning. A whole new perspective on art, architecture, design and airports which I had never considered. It was reassuring that so many of the points you made had a real resonance and although I had never heard of Biophilic Design it is certainly something that I will be looking out for– Sandy Angus, Chairman, Montgomery Group

Thank you for organising a great talk by Natasha Jade about biophilic design. It highlighted to me the importance of increasing biophilic design within our urban realm to improve sustainability, our wellbeing, and the adaptability of spaces. By employing nature within urban design, a better connection to the urban environment can be formed due to our inherent need to affiliate with nature. A lot of great ideas that I will take forward into future design projects – Alana Winstanley, Participant
