CCW – Site Tour | Vancouver House

Join us on Tuesday, April 24th to tour Westbank’s Vancouver House project in downtown Vancouver!

Among the tallest buildings in the city, Vancouver House is one of the world’s most anticipated real estate projects. The physical manifestation of the total work of art, the project includes a unique high rise typology and low-rise structures designed to complement the infill zones of the Granville Street Bridge.

The design of any building should be a function of the particular constraints and characteristics of each site. In the case of Vancouver House, the solution that Bjarke Ingels Group arrived at is very much a direct response to these conditions.

600,000 square feet in size, a slender base forms the nine-storey podium, ultimately widening into the 515-foot residential tower as it rises to meet the sky. The result is an entirely new building typology that will certainly create a more interesting skyline and set the standard as one of the most advanced developments in the city.

Please note: Full personal protective equipment, including CSA approved safety boots, hard hat, high visibility vest and safety glasses are required in order to attend the tour. Anyone not in possession of these items will not be permitted to walk the site.

7.15pm – 8.30pm – Dinner at Yaletown Brewing Company. Please note that the restaurant is 15 minutes’ walk from the tour location.

Easy Park lot #22 near the restaurant at 1180 Mainland Street, Vancouver BC V6B 6J7. $2.75/ half hour.

The site is 12 minutes’ walk from Yaletown Roundhouse Skytrain Station and adjacent to the main bus routes on Granville Street.
