Webinar | Building Equitable Cities

December 15, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

An increasingly common concern in cities across the United States is that the overall urban revival is leaving growing numbers of residents behind. At the same time, there is good evidence that more “equitable” cities are stronger economically. There is a business and social case, then, for real estate and land use leaders to help create a more inclusive urban prosperity.

This is the subject of a new ULI book: Building Equitable Cities: How to Drive Economic Mobility and Regional Growth. This ULI members-only webinar will expand upon what the book explores, detailing what’s working and how to do more of it in areas of wide interest among the Institute’s membership, including:

Affordable and workforce housing
Transit-oriented development
Public/private redevelopment
Community revitalization
And more.
ULI released the new book in Los Angeles at the 2017 Fall Meeting in October. The concurrent session around the release was the most popular at Fall Meeting this year. Learn more about the book here.

During this one-hour webinar, you will hear from the authors of the book.
