Tangible Interactive’s Alex Beim Talk and Demo

ABSTRACT

Alex Beim, Creative Director at Tangible Interactive Design, will join us at Tap & Barrel in False Creek for a night of fun, learning and socializing. Alex has designed and programmed an interactive lighting control that allows individuals to manipulate the exterior lighting of science world through a touch panel interface. Alex will be talking about his design and answering questions, and the installation will be on-site at Tap & Barrel for attendees of the event to interact with and control the Science World lighting.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

1. Learn from Alex Biem’s experience in designing and programming a touch control lighting interface.
2. Have fun interacting with his one-of-a-kind design.
3. Socialize with lighting professionals, IES members, and EPs alike.
